My Mug Trees

My old granny used to say to me that your kitchen is the heart and soul of your house, and as I got older I tended to agree more and more. So nowadays, when I cook more and more for the family, I spend more and more time in the kitchen and want my place to look as good as it possibly can. I don’t like having ornaments in my kitchen, there’s just so much other stuff that I need in there that any pure decoration seems a waste.

And that’s why I love mug trees, because they’re functional at the same time as looking fantastic and that’s a great combination in my kitchen where every inch of space must be justified at all cost! I personally love chrome mug trees, they match my kitchen which is a modern set up with chrome fittings and polished granite work tops. It cost a small fortune and so I’m reluctant to put anything into it that doesn’t match perfectly. My chrome mug trees just fir perfectly, they’re all shining and modern just like the kitchen so it’s a match made in heaven.

My friends and family were a little sceptical when I decided to add a few mug trees to the new look kitchen, they thought as many people do that having a mug tree was old fashioned and might actually detract from my beautiful new kitchen. In fact they were wrong and now my mug trees occupy pride of place as centrepieces in the room. Of course they are combined with some lovely Waterford mugs which look great anyway but it’s obvious that the best mug tree deserves the best mugs right?
